WSP.NRW’s online services are developed using the standardised approach of the so-called ‘digitalisation roads’. This is done on the basis of a microservice-based, multi-tenant and parameterizable architecture. At the technical level, the online services are based on applicable legal and professional standards and are equipped and enriched at the technical level with different components, the software components. Through this modular system, online services of the WSP.NRW can be developed quickly.
The legal and professional standards include:
The software components include:
Standardisation is a prerequisite for efficient, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use online services for end users. Re-use and sharing will be much easier if the shared services are built on commonly agreed standards.
A connection of technical procedures to the WSP.NRW benefits from uniform transport and data structure specifications. The online services in the WSP.NRW make inherent use of these advantages. In addition to binding requirements for the use of language, graphics and a uniform structure of the services, user experience is implemented and continuously tested via a specially developed concept.
At the beginning of the configuration of an online service, reference processes, reference resources and other uniform tools are also provided, which are based on the available standards of KoSIT and FIM. In addition to XGewO, this also includes, for example, XCompanies.
On the basis of the actual processes and data fields shown in the WSP.NRW, the development of further binding specialist modules and XÖV standards is currently being initiated.
The WSP.NRW provides form data in electronic formats in various ways. The applications of the users can, for example, be transferred to a Jira-based application. There, the competent authorities can access the data and all documents accompanying the application. Communication with applicants (e.g. in case of queries, missing or incomplete documents) is possible as well as forwarding the applications to other employees.
In the future, the Jira solution will be supplemented by a solution based on the FIT-Connect standard. The form data can be passed either in a PDF file or in XML format. Both may take into account binding XÖV standards. However, data can also be transferred to a technical procedure in XML format without a standard, in particular until a standard is available. The generation of the necessary technical information and the provision of a technical and technical specification is part of the processes in the digitization roads.
