New technical solutions

Based on a microservice architecture and various open source software solutions, the EfA minimum requirements are met. For companies (single companies, partnerships, corporations) and associations, the portal and associated account ‘My Business Account’ has been created, which unifies nationwide communication between companies and institutions. The connection is realized via the ELSTER/NEZO interface. The authentication options offered are:

• ELSTER certificate file (one-time identification by post)
• ID card with online ID card function (card reader/ID card app2 for mobile devices)
• Signature card in conjunction with the ElsterAuthenticator software
• Security stick in connection with the software ElsterAuthenticator

Registration via ELSTER is also possible for private individuals.

Content and meaning of the ELSTER company account and the mailbox 2.0
