Wirtschafts-Service-Portal

Media-break-free retrieval of evidence

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy (MWIKE) in North Rhine-Westphalia operates the Wirtschafts-Service-Portal.NRW (WSP.NRW). With the entry into force of the Economic Portal Act (WiPG) in summer 2020, the WSP.NRW became the central digital gateway for the economy in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). As a result, the following requirements were met: the EU Single Digital Gateway Regulation (SDG) and the European Services and Professional Qualifications Directive (Single Point of Contact Service). The WSP.NRW is also a unitary body under the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG).

As early as 2018, NRW assumed responsibility for the implementation of a number of CSO IDs in the field of corporate governance and development (UFE) of the Online Access Act (OZG), together with the federal states of Hamburg (theme field leadership) and Bremen (co-operation). In the meantime, NRW is developing a large number of administrative services for the economy in a total of ten one-for-all implementation projects (EfA-UP) – across fields and disciplines. This includes CSO IDs in the fields of UFE, taxation and customs, environment as well as work and retirement. MWIKE has consistently rebuilt the WSP.NRW 2020 in the direction of a microservice architecture. This was necessary, among other things, because of the technical requirements within the meaning of the minimum EfA requirements. With this basic technical orientation and the consistent pursuit of an open source strategy, we are now able to provide IT components for EfA co-use.

The next step in the further development of the portal in the direction of CSO maturity level 4 is logical in this respect. The WSP.NRW will play a central role in this.

In the following overview you will find pilot projects and further information on media-break-free retrieval.
