Events, weekly and special markets
In Germany there is freedom of trade, i.e. for the exercise of most trades you do not need a special permit. Only in certain industries, a special permission is required.
Special permits are required for participation in events and weekly and special markets. They must apply for permits to extend the blocking period as well as to participate in events and markets or to hold events with animals.
If you want to organise a trade fair, an exhibition, a wholesale market, a weekly, annual or special market (e.g. Christmas market), an approval of the event is required.
